Electrical Upgrades to Commence along Ocean Way

The City of Deerfield Beach Community Redevelopment Association (CRA) would like to notify residents that electrical improvements along Ocean Way will commence on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at NE Second Street and running to SE Forth Street.

The project is expected to take 75 – 90 days with a completion date of December 1, 2018. Eight new 50-amp power pedestals will be installed behind the curb on the east side of Ocean Way and 23 new electrical ground boxes will be installed along the beach berm. Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will remain open during the duration of the project. Parking along Ocean Way and the Beach Berm will remain open to the public; however, isolated areas will be blocked off for periods of time during construction.

For additional information on the work or project at large, please contact Mark DiMascio, CRA Project Manager at 954-952-0221.
