Parade Grand MarshalPaul Castronovo will be the Grand Marshal for the 2019 Pioneer Days Parade on February 16th. He has been one of South Florida’s most popular on-air personalities for over three decades, and he attributes what he calls his, “gift of gab” for success in both radio and television. He is best known as a host of the long-running “Paul & Young Ron Show,” and now the “Paul Castronovo Show” on Big 105.9 FM. Castronovo has also worked with the Miami Dolphins Foundation, co-chairing its charity effort, Fins Weekend, and he has served on the Board of Directors for the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.
Theme - Pioneer Days Festival Parade: “Sail Away"
Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Pioneer Days Festival Parade which will be held on Saturday, February 16th. The Pioneer Days Festival is an exciting three day event from February 15th - 17th that will include a music, arts & crafts vendors, food and a great parade throughout the weekend, including an exciting fireworks display celebrating the City of Deerfield Beach on Saturday, February 16th.
This year the parade will line up at Pioneer Park (501 NE Eller Street); we ask that you check in at 8:30 AM. The parade will begin at 10:00 AM and will go east on Hillsboro Boulevard, north on A1A, past the pier then south along the beach.
Following the parade there will be an awards ceremony at the beach. Trophies will be given to the winner in each of the below listed categories. Be sure when filling out the application you list the category for which you wish to be considered. Judges will be located on the stage at the Main Beach Parking Lot. Please note, it is important for you to provide the names of those that you would like acknowledged by the emcee together with any other information about your entry should you be chosen as a winner.
